Established in 2003 by Ben van Vuuren, A-unit Equipment is a Cape Town based logistical support company to the film, TV and events industry.
Ben being a unit and transport manager in the film industry with ten years experience, was later joined by Joanne Walter, a sought after costume stylist and two other partners, Irene Walter and Peter Williams. In 2005, a fifth partner, Rocco de Villiers, joined A-unit, bringing with him 8 years of unit and transport management experience to round off the A-unit group of partners.
